Have you thought about being a Models Direct guest blogger?
Here at Models Direct we’ve always known our models are talented – that’s why we put them forward for a wide range of jobs. But perhaps there’s another creative string to their bows that hasn’t yet been explored…
Writing is a personal venture allowing individuals to let creative juices flow, to be read and absorbed by thousands of readers. It’s a truly satisfying experience that can open new doors previously undiscovered. So if you’re a model and fancy getting to grips with writing about anything of relevance in the modelling world, we’d really like to hear from you.
We have a team of bloggers that have contributed every month for the past eighteen months. The aim of these blogs is to educate, inform and entertain, increasing exposure of all facets of modelling, from how we work with our clients to modelling success stories. We’ve also highlighted trends and focused on articles on wellbeing, health and general topics including earnings, cosmetics and types of models. In short, our blogs increase awareness, and act as an advert for our brilliant industry.
And now it’s your turn to get involved with blogging. In this age of social media and digital promotions, we’ll bet there are a few of you who are already apt at blog writing, whether it’s for personal reasons or for a wider audience. If you’re a model with blogging experience, we’d love to read a sample blog – say, 500 words – and then we’ll assess your suitability. Alternatively, any models with a lifelong ambition to have their writing published online are very welcome to come onboard! We’ll consider any subjects as long as they have a modelling theme. Blogs could be about your experiences as a model on set, why the assignment worked for you, and why more individuals should look to modelling as a fun, productive and worthwhile pursuit.
Promotion is important to all businesses, and it’s equally vital for individuals. Guest writers will have their blogs posted on our social media platforms, instantly reaching our 60,000 followers. Now, there’s something to consider! Who knows – your career might take a creative detour to the literary world.
Experience in blogging / writing is certainly helpful, although dedication and tenacity are perhaps more valuable. Depending on the subject, bloggers may also need to conduct a little research. Either way, if you have the desire, you could be halfway there to becoming a published blogger.
Think of Models Direct as your pathway to a blogger’s paradise. By combining writing with modelling and fashion, you’ll increase your profile, expand your skill set and have fun whilst doing it! What’s not to like?
Please get in touch with us and we look forward to seeing your blogs online!
