Who doesn’t believe you find wise heads on older shoulders?
Well, we certainly do!
Here at Models Direct we have had 35 wonderful years of working with mature models and we truly value everything they bring to our agency.
Whether they are experienced or not, our older male and female models are always eager to learn.
They love trying something new; they listen to instructions very carefully and they give their all to any photo or film shoot they are participating in.

Furthermore, they keep in touch with us in the run-up to an assignment and always ensure they are prompt and dressed as our clients have requested.
These days, we are often approached by companies, organisations and charities requiring senior models for their assignments.
Sometimes this might be for a key role in a family group, while on other occasions they might be helping to promote products or services specifically aimed at older people.
- Mature models – you have just the poise, reliability and enthusiasm we need!
- All modelling agencies should embrace diversity
- What kind of male modelling jobs do you get?
- Modelling with my family – what to expect
- Commercial Modelling – How to Get Involved
Either way, they are essential to us and our clients.
But what do our mature models enjoy about working with us?
Well, in their feedback they say they enjoy throwing themselves into new experiences and meeting new people.
And, of course, they welcome the opportunity to earn a little extra money – well, who doesn’t?

But why don’t we hear from a couple of our mature models in their own words…
Paul said:
“I had my first shoot today thanks to Models Direct – it was helping to promote retirement planning for Aviva and involved some speaking and photography.
“I had an excellent time, looked after very well by the crew who helped to put me at ease and advised all the way until it was right.
“They were very professional at every step but also friendly and approachable.
“Also, there was a lovely setting in Norwich, a city I was not familiar with.
“As a first assignment for Models Direct, it went way beyond expectations, from start to finish.
“I also learned a lot about presentation and delivery and found the fee generous, given they only needed me for one hour.”
And Valerie told us:
“I had another really lovely assignment with Models Direct courtesy of my agent Charlie, who is just a joy to work with.
“This one was for Abbeyfield (a retirement village in Ewell West).
“The day flowed smoothly – quite a bit of the shoot took place outside and thankfully the weather was warm and sunny.
“The residents were so lovely, warm and welcoming, as were the staff: art director, Chris, photographer, James, photography assistant and makeup artist, Verity, and the other model, Les.
“I truly enjoyed the whole experience – we shot various scenes, including playing pool!
“I look forward to my next venture with Models Direct.
“Thank you!”
