Yes, 2024 is drawing to a close – and what a year it has been!
We have all experienced the ups and downs of life over the past 12 months but here at Models Direct we are also proud to say we have had some magnificent bookings.
And, of course, magnificent bookings come because we have magnificent models and magnificent clients – so a big thank you to you all!
So, as we review our model bookings of 2024, which ones particularly stand out?
Well there have been so many and they have all been exciting and enjoyable in their own way, but here are just a few…
In January, we sent a group of our male and female models along to a shoot for Greene King in Manchester and this is what Lukas said afterwards:
“The recent shoot with Greene King for the Six Nations Rugby was my first shoot.
“It was a really welcoming and entertaining environment with loads going on.
“From hair styling to outfit direction, it was all organised and well prepared for.
“I met loads of new people wanting the same career in modelling as I aspire to have.
“All in all, it was a great experience and a good laugh, can’t wait for my next shoot!”
February saw some of our mature models head to Cambridge for a shoot to help promote Alzheimer’s UK, a cause we are very proud to have been involved with.
Then, in March, we sent a group of our male and female models off to Leeds to help advertise student accommodation.
We are getting lots of jobs like this now and our young models really enjoy them. After this one, Maria said:
“Doing an accommodation shoot for the second time around has always been enjoyable, fun, exciting and amazing experience with the group.
“It was a great team, from the photographers to the production staff – and, of course, my co-models who made things possible, easy and merry.
“I’d like to express my gratitude to Models Direct for giving me such a wonderful opportunity and I am hoping for many more projects to come.”
April and May saw more great bookings, including a birthday present for our young male model – who took part in a shoot for Economasters in Oxford on his big day – and a trip away for the Bond family.
Yes, this model family spent a lovely couple of days (including overnight accommodation) at beautiful Avington Park in Hampshire!
Then, June and July saw just as much fun…
In June, we sent a number of our lovely families to take part in a photo shoot for a soft flooring product and in July our lovely female model Shameem was chosen to do a voiceover for Admiral Home Insurance.
And things continued to hot up in August when our model couple Ewelina and Keiron stepped up for a wedding-themed shoot in Newhaven Fort.
Ewelina reported back afterwards:
“I have just completed my second shoot with Models Direct and I got the opportunity to do it with my partner.
“Models Direct reached out to us about a Wedding Shoot and what an experience it was!
“The communication and support from start to finish really makes you feel super comfortable to work with them.”
As autumn rolled into winter, the 2024 assignments continued to flood in and we saw bookings for clients from fashion outlets to food and drinks establishments and from small start-ups to big businesses.
Models and clients, it has been an exciting year for us all and 2025 promises to be just as much fun.
