There are all sorts of reasons for becoming a model, from engaging in different experiences, travelling to a variety of places and meeting new people.
And, of course, there is the question of money!
After all, who among us does not wish to earn a little extra income from time to time?
This might help us get by with our daily living or it might be that it allows us to save for something special – a day out, something new for the home or even a holiday, perhaps.
So how are our models paid after completing an assignment?
Well, the process is very simple…
As a fully vetted, government-regulated and accredited employment agency, we are technically your employer for a particular job.
Our clients request models from us, we negotiate the fee with them and then we offer them a selection of suitable models.
They chose a model (or models) and, if you are among them, we contact you to see if you want to take on the job.
We tell you exactly what you will be paid and you decide whether or not the booking is something you want to undertake.
Fees for assignments vary, depending on location, complexity and duration, as well, of course, on the experience of the model.
We are responsible for securing the fee from the client, which is essential as it means you do not take on any chasing of the payment at all.
We hear many stories of people who accept modelling jobs they have picked up online or advertised elsewhere – and never actually been paid for.
While we are never able to guarantee any model on our books that we will be able to supply them with work (this is because the client always makes the final choice), what we do guarantee is that they will be paid after the successful completion of any assignment through us.
Once the job is over, your personal point of contact within our team will find out how it went and will ensure that you are paid within just a few days.
We will discuss with you how payment will be made – usually straight into your bank account – and encourage you to contact us if this doesn’t happen when we say it will.
Payment is a key reason for doing any modelling work, whether as an extra activity or part-time or full-time career.
It isn’t the only reason why our models work with us, but we know how just important it is!
