It’s not every day you’ll hear that a UK modelling agency or any sort of business to be honest, is asking their models to strike a pose and say cheese to the camera whilst holding up their pay cheque. You’ll be forgiven for thinking we’re pulling your leg – we aren’t.
Models Direct is the agency that’s open to fresh approaches towards our diverse model and client selection process but once we’re happy, our models are happy and our clients are happy, we then lock it in place after we’ve seen successful results.
Cheque selfies are an important and unique aspect of our business where our team requests models who have completed their modelling assignment to sport a wide grin and document their cheque winnings with a selfie.
We promise that we negotiate the best fee for our talent, whether they’re a baby model, child model, teen model, adult model, mature model or pet model, so before they enter any agreements, they are 100% happy with the pay. And if they’re not, there’s no obligation to go ahead. We only kindly request that they let us know as soon as possible so that we can find another compatible model to fill in.

Junior model Sienna experienced her amazing photoshoot with TOFT, a British craft company and home of the Kerry Lord’s Edward’s Menagerie and Alexandra’s Garden collections of crochet animals and flowers.
Our MD team sent her sweet selfie holding up her well-deserved cheque for the camera, and we were all swooning over how cute she was!
Female model Tumi stood proud with her cheque of £199 for her hard work with Alzheimer’s Research UK. Here’s her wonderful feedback we’d like to share:
“This was my first shoot through Models Direct and I loved it. Gemma my point of contact on this assignment was very helpful in providing information, answering my questions and helping me to get ready. She even messaged me on the day to wish me luck and followed up after, so thank you.
The atmosphere at the shoot was great. The shoot crew welcomed us warmly, made us feel comfortable and relaxed and gave instructions in a way that made it easy to follow.
I found it easy to work with the photographer, and my co-model from the agency and met other silver models. It was so much fun with lots of laughter and camaraderie, and I learnt a lot too.
