Babies and toddlers are so adorable. They’re excited to explore the world with their curious minds and growing bodies. They’re happy, open, and cheeky, but sometimes sad and tired. Whatever mood your bambino or mini-me is in, they’re a complete joy for families and friends to enjoy their time with.
As for our MD team, we end up (almost always) huddling around our screens when a new modelling application comes through for this age group. We absolutely adore the sweet images of smiley babies and toddlers with the cutest expressions. Seriously, how is it possible not to?

Young Zuri was booked by Say it With Diamonds with her mum and gran for the jeweller’s Mother’s Day campaign. Here’s what her mum had to say:
“The entire experience couldn’t have been more professional. We felt fully briefed by Models Direct and knew exactly where to be, when and what to expect.
Even at short notice for the job, Charlie from the agency was a consummate professional. Both the client and her team and the photographer couldn’t have been nicer to Zuri who absolutely loved getting dressed up and laughed throughout the whole shoot.
Zuri even got a little keepsake from the client to take home which she absolutely loves and will be a lovely reminder of her shoot with Say It With Diamonds.

We also have a very recent campaign in April this year for a mental health initiative via Peterborough City Council. There were lots of our models featured in this short but impactful clip including the Yusuf family and toddler Zane.
Zane was the main character of the storyline, and here’s the feedback that was given by his guardian:
“The location was near. The environment was well-decorated to suit the storyline...everyone was so nice and appreciative on set.”
Our small models haven’t just been one-hit wonders though. Their skills become timeless and we see plenty of our babies and toddlers move on up the modelling age bracket and continue their career with us.
We’ve also had parents, extended families and guardians show interest and sign up with us too, like the Yusuf family. Some have applied at the same time as their bambino whilst others have at a later stage.
Our team always considers everyone applying as we embrace everyday, normal people, not photogenic professional models with tons of experience. Our diverse models needn’t have any previous experience at all. They just need to attend their modelling assignment after being selected (so long as everyone is happy to go ahead. There’s no pressure from us if models choose not to pursue a particular assignment and there’s no penalising either).
One of our assigned modelling coordinators will walk them through how their booking and schedule will look for the day(s) appointed for work. And that’s it!
