Variety is the spice of life – and that is why modelling is such a popular pastime.
Not only does it give people the opportunity to earn a little extra money, but they also get to meet new people and have fun.
When you look at the sheer variety of assignments we send our models on, both here in Bournemouth and right across the country, you can see just how varied it is.
Our male, female, child and pet models might be taking part in a shoot in a studio, shop or particular business or they may be stepping out in front of the camera in a picturesque, outdoor location.
They might be right here in Bournemouth, somewhere further afield in Dorset or the south or south-west, or they could even be abroad if they choose to accept an assignment in another country.
The end client could be anyone from a well-known brand, corporation or organisation to a smaller, locally based operation.
James, Gregory and Waleed, some of our superb Bournemouth models, went along to a photo shoot at the Picture House Studio.
The day itself was overseen by Poole-based Coda Communications and the end client was Servomex, an expert in gas analysis and a provider of gas measurement solutions.
For the shoot, the lads had to pretend to be company employees or members of the public.
Afterwards, Waleed said:
“I took on the customer role in the gas company shoot. It was good fun.”
James agreed. He said:
“It was my first time on a modelling shot.
“It was for new website content and I was playing the part of a gas engineer.
“All the staff were friendly and approachable. Instructions were given out well and I made some new friends.
“I didn’t feel nervous because of the friendliness of the crew and the environment too.
“Everyone respected each other and the crews were such hard workers, working non-stop.
“A big thanks to Charlie from Models Direct for recommending me for this shoot.
“It has been a really good experience which has given me motivation to undertake more modelling shoots.”
Gregory, who has worked with us before, also had fun. He told us:
“I had a great time on my shoot today in Bournemouth for new web content for Servomex.
“I was treated very well by the guys running the shoot from Coda Comms. I also got on well with fellow models James and Waleed.
“Thanks to Charlie for another well-organised job.”
