Opportunities to model arise throughout the year and often we find that with the changing seasons, there are increased chances to showcase and promote various seasonal features. In our latest blog, MD will be focusing on where you might find work as a model during these times of the year.
SS/AW Fashion Week
To all the fashionistas out there, all eyes are usually set on the hottest cities – NYC, Paris, Milan and London. They all host seasonal runway collections and dazzle us with the latest trending styles. This opens the floor for modelling contributions to be celebrated and featured perhaps directly on these runways or for other related marketing such as high street retailers taking inspo from them. Models could be booked to promote runway material live in a fashion store or as a fit model to help create the newest fashion to land on high street shelves.
Print and digital catalogues
Often you’ll see brands advertising their latest products and services in line with the seasonal outlook. Whichever medium this is presented in, there are collections targeted to meet the seasonal demands and models will, in turn, be in demand to help leverage a business’ seasonal elements.
Holiday and seasonal celebrations
Every quarter of the year brings a host of significant dates to observe and enjoy. Come year-end, there’s a multitude of festivities models can indulge in and be booked for to meet the demands of the season with an enjoyable assignment just as male model Simon did. He was booked for a Valentine’s Day campaign on behalf of Pizza Express and Just Eat, and it was lovely! Check it out here.
